No Uniform Day. We support DEBRA, so that Butterfly Skin hurts a little less 🦋. 2025-26
At Alborán School we are very proud to announce that, thanks to our recent Uniform-Free Day, we have raised €650 to collaborate with DEBRA Butterfly Skin, an essential NGO that supports families living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), known as “butterfly skin”.
Who is DEBRA Butterfly Skin?
DEBRA Butterfly Skin is the leading association in Spain that offers health, psychological and social support to families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare and genetic disease that makes the skin extremely fragile; they work in awareness, professional support, defense of rights and promotion of research to improve the quality of life of those living with this condition.
Our Day Without Uniforms: solidarity that can be felt
On this very special day, students were able to attend school without their uniforms in exchange for a charitable donation, and the response from the entire school community was exemplary: families and staff enthusiastically embraced the cause, showing once again that solidarity can be experienced with joy, commitment, and a strong sense of unity.
We walk together with optimism
These kinds of actions remind us that solidarity is also learned, contagious, and something to be celebrated. At Alborán School, we will continue to support causes that transform lives and educate in values.
Because every gesture counts, and together we can make Butterfly Skin hurt a little less. 🦋✨
