Visit of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra. 2017-18

Today Beatriz de Vera Asensio and Elena Gascón Villacampa, heads of Orientation for Eastern Andalusia and admission and promotion of the Faculty of Pharmacy respectively, both from the University of Navarra, visited us.

The first of the talks, carried out by Elena Gascón, revolved around The medicine of the future, describing the complex itinerary that a molecule follows from its discovery or synthesis to its patent and commercialization. She has also illustrated us about innovative concepts such as nanotechnology or cutting-edge treatments related to neurodegenerative diseases or cancer.

Beatriz de Vera has emphasized the most demanded professional skills and the importance of personal profile when joining certain studies or ultimately society. She has illustrated us with examples and has highlighted the importance of concepts such as leadership, teamwork or innovation, among others, as well as commenting on the importance of highly demanded human factors such as creativity or a sense of humor.
