Sub'15 Soccer Championship. 2017-18.
Colegio Alborán participated last Wednesday in the Championship of Soccer Sub'15 organized by Sotogrande International School with a selection of students from Secondary Education. The tournament was held at the Ciudad Deportiva "La Menacha" in Algeciras (Cádiz).
Our female team was represented by Claudia and Alba (4th ESO), Elsa, Paula M., Ana, Zaira, Celia and Paula C. (3rd ESO), Claudia and Melanie (2nd ESO).
On the other hand, the members of the men's team wereThey were: Gabriel, Carlos, Javier, Félix and Antonio (3º ESO) Iván, Jorge, Álvaro and Darío (2º ESO).
Both teams managed to finish third in the group stage. In the second phase, the men's team managed to finish in 6th position, while the women's team reached 5th place thanks to the great performance of goalkeeper Paula Mata who, with a lot of intuition and courage, managed to save several shots in the shootout. penalties.
From the Department of Physical Education we want to convey our satisfaction with the performance, delivery and "fair play" that all our representatives have shown during the development of this tournament.
