Lecture by Mike Molina, aerospace physics engineer and former student of the Alborán College. 2019-20.

Yesterday was a special day for Colegio Alborán. Although it is always a privilege to know facets and experiences of our regular speakers, how much more so if they are those of one of our former students, and Mike Molina, Mikey for us, is. A person who went through all the stages of the school leaving an imprint as a hard-working boy, a good companion and an excellent person, and who now returns, made a man and fulfilled professionally in his role as an engineer. aerospace physicist based in the United States, where he leads a team of professionals in this branch of science.

During a 45-minute talk, which began with some spectacular images of the launch of a spaceship from Cape Canaveral, he knew how to hold the attention of our students, and arouse their interest, reflected in the form of numerous questions, to which he masterfully responded. .

It is very stimulating and inspiring for our students to know of boys and girls who, like them, were sitting in the same place, and who now come back fulfilled with the message that you have to chase your dreams, that you can, and a real experience is worth a thousand words. Especially relevant when he answered that what is important is not the end, but knowing how to adapt to the circumstances that life itself offers us, and knowing how to find the appropriate answers at each moment.

Our 1st and 2nd year of Baccalaureate students left with a pleasant feeling, and, who knows, if any of them found inspiration to start a new path in their student and professional journey.

Our thanks to Mike Molina, Mikey, who leaves with a message that he already knew, that our alumni will always have the doors open to tell us about their life experiences again, to share them, and to see how proud we are of them.
