Awards Ceremony of the XXVIII Poetry Contest for schoolchildren “Poetas Del 27”. 2023-24

On June 8, the Alborán School, through the Language Department, attended the awards ceremony for the “Poetas del 27” Poetry Contest for schoolchildren, which this year reaches its XXVIII edition, and which is convened by the Area of Culture of the Malaga City Council with the main objective of recognizing the work of encouraging reading and writing carried out by educational centers.
The members of the jury, made up of writers Antonio Gómez Yebra, Carmen Ramos and Inés María Guzmán, highlighted the enthusiasm with which schools encourage poetic creation.
This contest, with massive participation from educational centers in Malaga and its province, is organized by the Municipal Library Network.

The awards ceremony, presented by Aurora Romero, took place in the auditorium of the Heritage Museum (MUPAM) in Malaga.

Four participants from different courses at our center have been awarded. We give our most sincere congratulations to the winners, finalists and all our participants, while we encourage all our students to continue writing poetry.

In the Modality of the Third Cycle of Primary:

  • Iara Fernández Alonso, (Finalist), with her poem “La marioneta”.
  • Dylan Rosenboom Martín (Finalist)), for “Verb Control”.

In the Second Cycle of ESO modality:

  • Alisa Rusakova (First Prize), with her work “No”.
  • Claudia Cabanillas García (Third Prize), for her poetry “An unreal world”.
