Presentation by Mr. Pancho Campo. 2024-25

Today was a very special day at Alborán School, largely due to the visit of a communicator like Pancho Campo. It's difficult to pigeonhole a person as multifaceted as he is: adventurer, music promoter, elite athlete, coach... A man with more than enough experience to convey to our students that they shouldn't be afraid of fear, as a survival mechanism that it is, but that in everyday life it is essential to learn to manage it. Key advice for students like ours, who will soon face a future outside of school, likely far from home. Nothing beats the personal experiences shared to better understand how to face challenges. He also reminded everyone of the fundamental importance of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance for a full life. A story based on enriching experiences that he wanted to share with our young people through words, photographic documents, and press clippings that attest to his achievements and exploits. A talk that also serves to foster respect for nature. These experiences and a life philosophy are captured in his latest publication, "Smile," which provides a positive and useful perspective for facing the various situations life throws at us, learning from successes and failures, both of which are essential for growth. A lively and interesting talk that delighted all attendees.
