Audiovisual projects of El Conde Lucanor 2025-26
Our students in 3rd year of ESO and 1st year of Bachillerato in the subject Spanish Language and Literature have carried out projects on the best known stories of El Conde Lucanor, by Don Juan Manuel, both adapting the stories and recreating current versions about these problems and concerns, which are still relevant at heart.
Count Lucanor. Tale XXXVII. The Recovery.
Paula, Andalus, Sofía and Maia invented this story, adapting the structure of El Conde Lucanor.
The value of perseverance is conveyed, along with the affirmation that there is always a second chance if we are persistent:
Count Lucanor. Tale VII Lady Truhana
Adaptation of story VII Doña Truhana: Ángela, Rania, Anastasia and Maylis convey with humor in this adaptation by don Juan Manuel the value of keeping one's feet on the ground and not being carried away by future illusions that can ruin everything one has in the present.
Count Lucanor. The Lazy One
Mikel, José and Dominic created this original video using humor to show the negative consequences of laziness.
The moral of the story is not to leave obligations until the last minute.
Count Lucanor. Awake Mind
Adam Leo, Álvaro, Julio, Ethan and Deyan use this project to warn about the dangers of addiction to mobile phones and other electronic devices.
"A waking mind is better than a lit screen."
These two verses, as a conclusion, close the video, in the style of Don Juan Manuel.
Count Lucanor. Don't judge a book by its cover.
Elias, Maria, Olivia, and Natalia teach us with this video that we should not judge a book by its cover, nor people by their outward appearance, highlighting the value of sincerity.
