Recognition of the fencing master Mr. Antonio Marzal. 2016-17

Our colleague D. Antonio Marzal received the Silver Biznaga last weekend in recognition of all the years he has dedicated to fencing in Malaga as a teacher. D. Antonio received this recognition from the mayor of Málaga, D. Francisco de la Torre, in an act that took place in the unbeatable setting of the Roman Theatre.

The sporting career of our award-winner began at the age of 12, obtaining several successes with the foil. However, he soon decided to specialize in the saber modality, with which he reaped most of his victories. To his interesting career as a shooter, we must add his facet as a teacher, highlighting his important work as coach of the Spanish Paralympic team from Barcelona 1992 to London 2012.

We are proud to have in our team a symbol and example of improvement, work and passion for sport. Congratulations mate!
