Swimming competition. 2015-16.
On September 23 and 24, a selection of students from 2nd grade to 4th ESO participated in a swimming competition where there was a magnificent sporting atmosphere with an absolute crowd in the stands surrounded by relatives who never stopped cheering.
On this occasion, our students had to battle sportingly with Swans, St. Anthony's and the host The International English College.
Participation in the competition more than met our objective of promoting swimming among students as a recreational and fun activity with beneficial effects on health and physical development. Each stroke of our schoolchildren, slower or faster, reflected effort, self-improvement, enthusiasm and camaraderie. Important and necessary values that they assumed, without a doubt, to compete both in individual events and in freestyle relays and backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and front crawl relays together.
Finally, highlight the great performance of our participants who achieved first place eleven times and several of them even managed to lower the minimum mark, breaking the record of the previous 18 editions of this swimming competition.
Individual Test Winners:
-Constance Bermingham “Conny” 25m breaststroke

On the 23rd & 24th September, a selection of students from our school took part in a swimming competition hosted by the English International College. It was a wonderful sporting event, in which we competed against the host EIC, Swan's and St. Anthony's and we were cheered on by the parents.
We more than fulfilled our objective to promote swimming amongst students, showing the beneficial effects of swimming for the health, and physical development. Every stroke, whether slow or fast, reflected achievement, excitement and camraderie, important and necessary values which were learned.
Finally we would like to mention outstanding performances by some of our pupils, who managed to beat records from the previous 18 years.
