Theatrical performance 20.000 Leagues Under the Sea. 2024-25

On November 26th, our 1st and 2nd year ESO students attended the theatrical performance of the play “20.000 Leagues Under the Sea”, a magnificent adaptation of the renowned work by French writer Jules Verne at the ESAD in Malaga.
This activity, coordinated by the Department of Language, aims to awaken interest in the classics of universal literature, and in it students have been able to introduce themselves to the genre of fantasy and adventure novels.
In addition, it has served to raise awareness among students about the importance of caring for the environment and our oceans.
All attendees enjoyed this ingenious and exciting story on a journey through the depths of the ocean aboard the Nautilus.
At the end of the play, they were able to participate in the discussion, exposing to the actors and actresses their doubts and concerns about this magnificent work by one of the fathers of science fiction literature.
