Trip to Greece. 2022-23

Our 4th ESO boys and girls have had an amazing experience on their trip. Within our "Education and Culture outside the classroom" program, they have had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history and emotion of ancient Greece, on an unforgettable journey through Hellas.

First, they explored the amazing city of Athens, the capital of Greece, situated in the Attica region. Imagine how impressive it was to walk through the streets full of historical monuments! They have visited the majestic Acropolis and its iconic Parthenon. They have also been able to immerse themselves in the culture by visiting the Acropolis Museum and the National Archaeological Museum. In addition, they climbed Mount Filopappos for spectacular views. They toured the charming neighborhoods of Plaka, Monastiraki and Kolonaki, and explored the Agora and the Temple of Paestum. The list of amazing places they visited is endless!

But that's not all, because they also had the opportunity to visit the impressive Sanctuary and Museum of Apollo in Delphi, in the Boeotia-Delphi region. They then moved to the Lamia region of Thessaly, where they explored the impressive orthodox Byzantine Monasteries perched on the cliffs of Meteora. It was quite an experience to be surrounded by such natural and spiritual beauty!

In addition, they remembered important historical events by visiting the Great Marathon Plain and the Thermopylae Pass. Imagine the excitement of being in those places steeped in history!

In summary, this trip has been something unique for the 4th ESO boys. They have enjoyed an itinerary full of wonders, where they have been able to immerse themselves in the history, culture and beauty of Greece. We are sure that these memories will remain etched in your hearts forever!
