XXVII Poetry Contest for Schoolchildren “Poetas Del 27”. Awards ceremony corresponding to the 2022-23 academic year
The Language Department of the Alborán School participates every year with great enthusiasm in the Poetry Contest for schoolchildren “Poetas del 27”, convened by the Culture Area of the Malaga City Council, whose objective is to “recognize the work of the teachers who promote and encourage in the classrooms reading and writing poetry among their students.”
This contest, which currently has massive participation, is organized by the Municipal Library Network and students from all educational centers in Malaga and its province participate.
The awards ceremony, corresponding to the last year, took place on Saturday, December 16 at the Heritage Museum (MUPAM) in Malaga, in an event that thrilled all attendees and the winners who received the trophies and poetry collections with all his published poems.
Nine participants from different courses at our center have been awarded. We give our most sincere congratulations to the winners, finalists and all our participants, while we encourage all our students to continue writing for the next poetry contest.
They have been awarded:
In the Modality of the Third Cycle of Primary:
• Marcos, Reque García, (First Prize), with his poetry “Sin trugua”.
• Olivia Barreiro, (Second Prize), for “Yo”.
• Ángela Díaz Pérez- Blanco (Third Prize), for her poem “Amigas”.
• María Rodríguez Baena (Finalist), with the poem “Never give up.”
In the First Cycle of ESO modality:
Adriana Díaz Aguilar (First Prize), with her work “I love you.”
Carmen Encinas Lorenzo (Third Prize), for her poetry “I want to see you one more day.”
Sofía Chimuris Rotari (Finalist), for “The House Behind.”
In the Second Cycle of ESO Modality:
• Paula Lapied Fernández (First Prize), for her poem “Esa persona”.
• Tiana Kehringer (Third Prize), for “Rosas”.
