January 30: School Day of Nonviolence and Peace. 2019-20
Teresa de Calcula affirmed that "peace begins with a smile". This is how at Colegio Alborán we join the celebration of the "School Day of Nonviolence and Peace" every year. We also do so while being aware of the fundamental role that education plays as a tool to achieve a more just and peaceful society.
On this day, which is celebrated every January 30, we are invited to reflect and become aware of the importance of making peace and justicecia be our path to a better future for all.
During the celebration, we have read a manifesto and we have carried out different activities: creation of murals, recital of poems, songs, dances, chalk drawings, messages...
In short, a day for reflection and awareness, in which our students have participated actively and with great enthusiasm.
