Our students from the 2nd year of Baccalaureate in Image and Sound together with the 1st year of Baccalaureate in Arts, in Audiovisual Culture, have carried out a very interesting photographic project.
Our high school students have recreated iconic images from very diverse eras, styles and genres, after a prior study of the History of Photography and the Magnum Agency.
For this activity, they chose photographs by the father of social photography (Lewis Hine) and fashion photography (Richard Avedon). They also drew inspiration from Surrealist artists (Man Ray), Inge Morath, Lee Miller, photographers from the music and film industries, fashion photographers, and photographers of important celebrities (Sid Avery), among others.
They surprised us with works very similar to the original photograph, with movie posters and, most importantly, they participated enthusiastically.
