Our 1st year of Arts Baccalaureate students, in Audiovisual Culture I, have been inspired by great photographs from History, interpreting their own version of these.
Following a project started last year, our young artists have masterfully recreated great works, offering us a wonderful walk through photography from different eras and authors, from the "decisive moment" of the father of photography, Cartier Brésson, to the present day.
In addition, they have also dared with movie posters of iconic movies, chosen by themselves.
They have recreated important and spectacular portraits, they have studied the fathers of photojournalism and staged some of the founders of the Magnum Agency.
In this ambitious project, authors of Surrealism (Man Ray), reporters, fashion photographers and important celebrities (Helmut Newton, Mapplethorpe or Halsman) have gathered.
Our students have surprised us with very elaborate final projects similar to the original photography, showing great interest and enthusiasm in their realization. With the fantastic works done, we will hold an exhibition at school.

On Thursday, April 8, Eva Nilsen, actress, photographer, model, director's assistant and director of video clips born in Marbella, offered a very motivating virtual talk to our 2nd year Baccalaureate students, coordinated by Sandra Pedraja in collaboration with the Department of Arts for the subject Image and Sound.
The current manager of Casting Marbella (one of the first casting agencies on the Costa del Sol), introduced the students to the current and varied panorama of culture and showed some of her work and projects.

Likewise, during the videoconference, Eva, who carries art in her veins, answered all the doubts that arose with enthusiasm.
Restless and creative, Eva Nilsen has carried out different activities related to art, cinema and music. She has worked in the videos of Jamiroquai, Sting, Pau Donés, Jarabe de Palo or Enigma, among others. Similarly, she has worked with Javier Ojeda, Teo Cardalda and Ricardo Marín.

We have verified that his unmistakable personal brand is the treatment of light and his ability to carry out high-quality projects. Despite the fact that on many occasions he does not have financial resources, he is capable of supplying this lack with his great talent, imagination and adaptation.
His childhood was spent between cameras and shooting lights, perhaps for this reason he has a gift for finding the perfect frame and capturing the moment in the most suitable light.
It was, without a doubt, a close and interesting meeting, in which he connected with all the attendees.
We want to thank our special guest for her visit and the enthusiasm transmitted.
