Collaboration with Produnas Marbella. 2017-18

One more year the students of 1st and 2nd ESO attend their appointment on time with the conservation of our natural environment, specifically, to continue contributing to the campaign to eradicate invasive species from our coasts carried out by the ProDunas Marbella Association, whose purpose is to watch over and protect the valuable natural heritage that constitutes our dune ecosystem.

An activity of these characteristics is a transversal work in which both #values and scientific issues are addressed. The objective, based on knowing how to recognize our native species (lily, thistle, bastard chamomile, broom, marram, jonquil...) and the invasive ones (una de león, pita, feather duster, yucca, mimosa...), has been more than fulfilled.

From a quantitative point of view, we are very satisfied for having removed some 2.300 kg. of cat's claw from the dune complex of the Real de Zaragoza beach, but we are even more proud of the civic and exemplary behavior of our students.
