Lecture by Mr. Manuel Franco Díaz. 2015-16

Today, Thursday, he visited our College Mr Manuel Franco, which has offered our students of 3rd, 4th of ESO and 1st of Baccalaureate a talk about studies Engineering and technical careers.

He began by sharing with the students what difficulties he found in the Baccalaureate and in the Faculty and how he solved them, while providing information and documentation on professional opportunities of this college course.

The engineer highlighted the importance of teamwork and “have an open mind to accept advice and admit mistakes to improve them”. He also added that “The necessary ingredients are perseverance, effort and vocation”.

Manuel Franco dealt with very interesting and novel topics, such as the programs that are currently used, something that surprised the attending students. Likewise, the practice of animations and simulations was something that caught the attention of our young people. He showed them numerous examples of practical projects carried out during the university stage, suggesting ideas to those who are already opting for this specialty.

He also transmitted the value of carrying out work with a low environmental impact in any daily project.

The students participated actively and showed a lot of interest, asking questions that Manuel gladly clarified.
