The Art of Alboran. 2020-21

Our center has become a true museum in which works made by Early Childhood, Primary and High School of Arts are exhibited. The creations come out of the classrooms to flood the school and bring art to every corner.

Our 1st year of Arts Baccalaureate students have been inspired by great photographs from History, interpreting their own version of these.
Our young artists have masterfully recreated great works, offering us a wonderful walk through photography from different eras and authors, from the "decisive moment" of the father of photography, Cartier Brésson, to the present day.

In addition, together with the 6th grade students, they have also dared with movie posters of iconic films. They have recreated important and spectacular portraits, they have studied the fathers of photojournalism and staged some of the founders of the Magnum Agency.

For their part, the 2nd year Baccalaureate students wanted to exhibit in this exhibition the result of a stimulating and inspiring course in which they have worked on a wide variety of themes, techniques and supports.

A group of students who have experimented and deepened with different techniques such as watercolor, mixed media, inks or markers and their application in typography and object design, as well as the plastic interpretation of the narrative through collage. All this among many other procedures that we can enjoy in this formidable exhibition, where the artistic sensitivity of our VIII Promotion of the Baccalaureate of Plastic Arts, Design and Image is appreciated.

An ambitious project in which the Early Childhood Education cycle has also participated, which has investigated the depths of our oceans, to expose the discoveries of the wonders that inhabit them. The exhibition at our center is completed by a small corner created and flooded with dots, where the little ones at school have been integrated into the work of Yayoi Kusama. Following this idea, our students have also developed their own creations in class, using pumpkins and other elements.

All our students have surprised us with very original and varied final projects, showing great interest and enthusiasm in their realization.
Stimulating creativity and the senses, we present the art of Alborán.
