Excursion to Piñar. 1st of ESO. 2021-22

1st of ESO has carried out an activity on "Prehistory" as a complement to the subject of Social Sciences with a wide program of theoretical-practical activities.
Our students, accompanied by an archaeologist guide, have visited the Cueva de Las Ventanas, located in the western town of Píñar in Granada. In it, the stages of the Paleolithic, Neolithic and metal ages are recreated. In addition, from a geological point of view, its various speleothems are also interesting.
After this visit, our students carried out a series of workshops where they discovered how fire is created and how hunting and decorative tools are made with iconic material, all within the Program "a troglodyte experience".
As a culmination of the day, with a naturalist and biologist they have enjoyed and learned everything related to birds of prey and have been able to interrelate in the animal facility with various species.
