Wheelchair basketball exhibition. 2018-19

The Department of Physical Education has organized, thanks to the collaboration of the club BSR Marbella and the CB Lynces San Pedro, an interesting and didactic wheelchair basketball exhibition that our Primary and Secondary Education students have been able to attend.

This event had a double objective. On the one hand, to promote the practice of this sport and on the other, to raise awareness about the difficulties and the ability to overcome adversity.

The event began with the presentation of the players and a brief talk about the particular characteristics of this sport. This was followed by the match, in which we were able to enjoy the great rhythm and dynamism of each play.

Finally, some of the attendees were able to test the chairs and verify the real difficulty involved in practicing this type of basketball.

We want to thank the members of the BSR Marbella club and the Linces de San Pedro for making this enriching sports experience and education in values ​​possible for our students.
