Open Day. 2018-19
From Colegio Alborán we want to thank the warm reception that our Open Day, held on May 11 in our facilities. At this appointment, the families attending were able to participate in numerous and varied activities.
The sports tournaments were very well attended, among others, paddle tennis, volleyball, triples, chess, futsal and basketball. The multi-adventure also had a prominent place, with the passage through the Tibetan bridges, archery and climbing, which made young and old enjoy.
On the other hand, in this XV edition we were able to dance bachata and salsa, both in the music room and on the entrance stage, and attend a dynamic judo exhibition in our gym.
For fans of speed and radio control, D-Ingravity offered an interesting workshop on drones, with which those present were able to learn the basic principles of their construction and handling.
The TIC gymkhana caused a sensation among the players, who managed to complete the secret code in record time, discovering all the clues that were scattered throughout the center's facilities, from the ecological #garden, to the #swimming pool and the Equestrian Club.
A playground, with crafts, face painting and a fun inflatable attraction delighted the little ones, who enjoyed the children's entertainment workshops.
In addition, all attendees were able to see the work done by our students in the Expo Science exhibitions for Primary Education and discover at Expo Robotica the interesting Programming, Robotics and 3D Design projects that we have developed during this school year. Along with these exhibitions, we also incorporated an interesting "stand" on the UCMAS project, which described the basic principles of this educational proposal that is so important for our school.
The impressive Dressage exhibition, the pony ride for our youngest riders and the sensational Art Expo, with the impressive works of our Artistic Baccalaureate students, complemented our wide offer for this day.
The event concluded with the delivery of the trophies of the various competitions and with a lunch prepared by our kitchen team, which put the finishing touch to this fantastic day.
