Freedom in times of confinement. 2019-20
The students of the Alborán school of various courses have reflected on freedom during the months that the confinement has lasted.
Paraphrasing the famous title by Gabriel García Márquez, here we show you a selection of poetic or prose texts, posters, drawings and photographs that they have created of what the absence of freedom has meant for them.

Poem by Paula Coronil.
FREEDOM
I stopped feeling it months ago,
many of us,
we do not see that it is one of the feelings
purer to perceive.
To live,
shout out,
be ourselves,
And don't try to change us.
be as we are,
each expressing ourselves
and feeling happy
somehow quirky.
In this time I learned
that freedom
it's not just a feeling
What should we feel inside?
but a right they must not take away,
a right to think
what we want
and act as we decide.
Being able to get up
and walk on the beach
sit on a bench
and see how the hours go by,
but since months
hours passed at home.
And we have only consumed
freedom from the window
unable to leave,
and to be able to enjoy the life that awaited us.
But the things
They happen when we least expect it.
that's when we begin to appreciate,
how important it is to feel inside
the longed for freedom.
Reflections by Maria Puertas.
Knowing ourselves more, knowing that tomorrow, when all this is over, we will live each moment as if it were the last, because we will have learned to value all those moments that we did not appreciate enough before and that from now on will make us feel better. little happier.
All those people that before we could even have "missed them more", all those gestures, those hugs, those kisses, today we miss them... but if we are sure of something, it is that they will return...
