Literary meeting with Antonio Gómez Yebra. 2023-24.

On April 3, to continue celebrating one more day the International Children's and Young People's Book Day, which commemorates the birth of Hans Christian Andersen, we had the presence in our center of Antonio Gómez Yebra, prestigious writer and Professor at the UMA.
This enriching literary meeting has been organized by the Department of Letters, in coordination with the Anaya publishing house.
Our students from the first and last cycle of Primary have attended and really enjoyed the activity to encourage reading with this author of Children's and Youth Literature who has obtained important prizes and awards.
The prolific author has shared literary experiences from his books “The best animal riddles” and “With the boots on” (a work he created for his daughter María), works read by the students of the four courses he has attended.
They have been two very interesting sessions that have served to inspire a love of reading from a very early age.
In a pleasant and receptive environment, the writer, novelist and poet, who has published 175 books, of which more than a hundred are aimed at minors and young people and the rest of the poetic and narrative titles are aimed at adult readers, has kindly responded all the questions raised and has signed copies of his books.
There were times for riddles, poem recitation and lots of laughter.
It is always an honor for our center to receive the renowned writer Antonio Gómez Yebra, in increasingly different meetings that encourage creativity and encourage the love of reading.
