Marketing Seminar. 2018-19

On January 11, a very interesting and educational Marketing Seminar took place in our center, organized by the Department of Economics.

Said Seminar has been given by Mr. Fernando Martín Ortega, Marketing Director of Aertecc and ESIC Professor and has been aimed at students of 1st and 2nd year of Baccalaureate who are studying the subject of Business Economics and Baccalaureate of Arts.

Under the title "The Marketing mix and the current consumer", Don Fernando Martín introduced, in a very entertaining way, our Baccalaureate students in the different tools used by the new Marketing mix to reach the current customer, with special emphasis on the emotions.

It has been an absolutely practical Seminar, in which all the participants have had fun and learned current trends and techniques of Marketing instruments.

The questions have been answered: What is Marketing? What is your priority? How does the consumer behave today? How do we approach him? And what is the recipe to reach the current consumer?

All the students attending have shown a lot of interest, especially in the importance of the products on the shelves and in learning the resources, techniques and strategies used today in the face of the excess supply that exists within our reach.

Likewise, and through videos, advertisements and a wide variety of audiovisual material, the Marketing Director explained topics such as product customization, creating a great connection with our students.

Don Fernando, an excellent communicator, stressed the importance of living a customer experience and emphasized relationship building, through moments of contact, something that greatly attracted the students, concluding that Relationship Marketing is the current Marketing, “you have to look for fans, not clients”.

In short, it has been an enriching and highly motivating experience for all the students who attended.
