Charity market. 2019-20
As you already know, through our Solidarity Project we want to promote and raise awareness among our students of a true Education in Values.
For this, and as is customary in these pre-Christmas dates, we set up our particular solidarity market on December 18 and 20, making it coincide with our characteristic living Nativity scene and with the celebration of the Christmas Carol Contest. On both occasions we held a solidarity breakfast with the sale of sweets and pHomemade oysters made by our Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate students, as well as by the center's teachers. The total collected with the breakfasts of the two days amounts to 1183,50 euros, which will be delivered entirely in favor of the Ronda Nursing Home (Little Sisters of the Poor).
During this week we also delivered the required food that has been so generously donated by our students of all courses, families and school staff.
In addition to having the charity stand of the NGO Manos Unidas, this year we have also had that of the Fundatul association. This organization, with which the Colegio Alborán regularly collaborates, tries to tutor, protect and train people with disabilities.
In the same way, the sale of calendars for the prostheses of our former student Sarah Almagro and her association Somos tu ola. With this sale we have been able to collect 330 euros.
We want to thank all the families of Alborán for their altruistic participation and involvement in all these humanitarian initiatives.
