COVID-19 protocol.

Dear families,

With a view to the start of the next academic year, we have prepared a series of action protocols focused on various areas. In this case, we provide you with a simple decalogue that in some aspects specifies the role that families can play in this entire process.

1. The return to school will be in person, although subject to the decision of the competent authorities, who could decree confinement again, a scenario for which we are also prepared.

2. The Colegio Alborán has formed a COVID monitoring, prevention, information and reaction commission in the face of any case of contagion that may appear, which will also be in charge of preparing the appropriate action protocols.

3. Families will not have access to the interior of the facilities. We do not recommend gatherings outside, but if they do occur, they must maintain safety distances and the mandatory use of the mask.

4. The procedures with the secretariat and administration will be carried out by appointment, and without coinciding with the time of entry and exit of the students.

5. Students will not be admitted before 9:15 a.m., with the logical exception of high school.

6. The access routes for students who come with their own transport will be:

a) Corridor next to the secretary's office for Infant, 1st and 2nd year Primary students.
b) Small door for the students of 3º.6º Primary.
c) Door to the stairs for ESO students.

7. To reduce the possibility of contagion, coexistence groups will be formed in the Infant and 1st and 2nd EPO classes, with the intention of minimizing contact with other groups. For the rest of the students, social distancing measures and the use of a mask will be worked on whenever they are outside the classroom. When this is stored, it must be done in a personalized case.

8. Prevention measures begin at home, with taking your temperature, washing your hands and wearing a mask before coming to the School, whether en route or independently. Likewise, and due to the closure of the fountains, the water they are going to consume must come in personalized plastic bottles from home.

9. In case of suspicion of possible infection (fever, difficulty breathing, discomfort, etc.), the student will stay at home and the person in charge of the COVID commission whose phone number we will provide will be informed. In the same way, in the event of a case in their group-class, they will be notified to come and pick up their child in an orderly and sequential manner.

10. They will be duly informed about the internal operating protocol of the School before the start of the course. For this we will carry out an informative meeting in which they will be able to resolve any doubts that may arise. In addition, they will have the relevant signage and the explanatory infographic that we will send them.

Sincerely,
Alboran College

Dear families,

In advance of the start of the next academic year, we have prepared some protocols of action focusing on various areas. In this case, we have provided you with a simple decalogue which, in some aspects, specifies the role that families can play in this whole process.

1. The return to school will be in on-site form, although it will be conditioned by the decision of the competent authorities, which could again order the lockdown, a scenario we are also prepared for.

2. Alborán School has created a COVID committee to follow up, prevent, inform, and, react to any case of contagion that may arise, which will also be responsible for drawing up the appropriate action protocols.

3. Families will not have access to the interior of the school facilities. We do not recommend gatherings outside but, if they take place, they must maintain the safety distances and the mandatory use of the mask.

4. Negotiations with the secretary and administration will be made by appointment, and without coinciding with the time of entrance and exit of the students.

5. Students will not be allowed to enter the school grounds before 9:15 am, with the logical exception of Bachillerato.

6. The access ways for the students who come to school in private transportation will be:
a) Corridor next to the secretary's office for Infants, 1st and 2nd Primary students.
b) Small entrance door by secretary for the students from 3rd to 6th Primary.
c) Staircase entrance for ESO students.

7. In order to reduce the possibility of infection, groups will be formed in the Infant and 1st and 2nd EPO classes, with the intention of minimizing contact with other groups. For the rest of the students, social distancing measures will be worked on and the required use of masks whenever they are outside the classroom. Masks must be kept in a personalized bag or container when not in use.

8. Prevention starts at home: taking temperatures, washing hands, and wearing a mask before coming to school, whether they do so by bus or your own transport. Likewise, and because the fountains are closed, the water that your students are going to consume must come in personalized plastic bottles from home.

9. In case of a suspected infection (fever, difficulty in breathing, pain, etc.), the student will stay at home and will inform the person in charge of the COVID committee, whose phone number we will provide. Also, if there is a case in your group-class, you will be notified to come and pick up your child in an organized and sequenced manner.

10. You will be informed of the school's protocols before the start of the school year. In that regard, we will hold an informative meeting in which you will be able to clarify any doubts that may have. In addition, you will have the relevant signals and the informative infographics that we will send you.

Yours sincerely,
