Internal chess tournament. 2018-19
This morning the students of Colegio Alborán have participated in our classic internal chess tournament. In it, it is decided who will represent our school in the next phases of the School Chess Games.
During this event, two parallel competitions were developed, one for Primary Education and one for Secondary Education, using the “Swiss System” of five rounds. This mechanic allows all participants to play games against rivals of a similar level.
After a very lively morning, in which many sensations were shared, the awards ceremony took place.
In Primary Education the first places went to:
1. Arthur Shigaev.
2. Giovanni Foresta.
In the older group, the first places went to:
1. Daniel Married
2.Emma Edouard
We want to convey our warmest congratulations to the champions and all the participants, for the good atmosphere and healthy competitive spirit that they have shown during the day.
