LIVE LITERATURE

The most relevant literary characters of Universal Literature transcend the classrooms this day, permeating the Alborán School of Live Literature. The 3rd ESO students take us fully into the magic and culture of books of all times.
We have had a very varied and wide gallery of characters and authors who have visited the classes of their Primary and Secondary classmates.
In addition, 4th year ESO students have researched different literary topics that can be seen reflected in paintings, poems and other artistic manifestations throughout the history of literature.

Our students, Teresa and María, from the 1st year of the Humanities Baccalaureate, have developed an educational video of great poetic sensitivity, in which they offer the best famous and inspiring quotes from books and authors of universal literature.

The 1st year Baccalaureate students have had a leading role on this day. The French Department has recreated the fictional Gaul village of Asterix and Obelix, which our Early Childhood and Primary Education students visited with great enthusiasm. A tribute to these characters from the brilliant creators René Goscinny (screenwriter) and Albert Uderzo (illustrator). In each part of the village different educational and sports games have been held, and those students who demonstrated their skill or knowledge have won prizes.

The English Department, for its part, has celebrated this day with great success. The 1st and 2nd ESO students, with the collaboration of their families, have been very involved and, with great effort and motivation, have recreated the typical gastronomy of different countries with delicious dishes. To make the day complete, they practiced their English with a fun karaoke.

The proceeds obtained from the sale of this food from each country will be donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer
And in the afternoon the characteristic and long-awaited "Final Spelling Contest" took place, in which our Primary Education students, in stages, very easily performed a great demonstration of the vocabulary learned.
