Project-based learning in 4th grade of Primary Education. 2016-17

In the project work method, students participate in their own learning, learning to investigate, search for information, organize the way of presenting said information and finally, presenting it to their classmates. The project is, therefore, a plan of action and realization.

To reach the final product, you must previously consider:
1. What do you want to do?
2. Why are we going to do it?
3. What are we going to need.
4. What we will do it with.
5. Where can we find what we need.
6. Assignment of responsibilities: who is going to do each task and how.
7. Evaluation of what has been done and the results obtained.

Working on projects makes our students THINK, preventing boys and girls from memorizing what the teacher tells them without questioning or understanding. Due to this, they must be able to create hypotheses, be reflective, be critical, dialogue, be able to work in a team and share their opinion with the rest. In addition, this type of methodology tries to include daily life in student learning.

Below we show you an example of the final product of the project that the boys and girls of 4th grade of Primary Education have carried out on weather forecasting. Throughout these months we will try to show you more examples made in Early Childhood and Primary Education.
