At Art day of our XXX Cultural week The Department of Drawing has organized an activity with students from 3rd to 6th of Primary education in which all have become authors of the reproduction of the painting of the greatest representative of the PointillismRevival.

With the help of volunteer monitors from Baccalaureate and in the form of a colorful mosaic, they have painted the work “Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte”, a collective activity in which our little impressionists have shown extraordinary artistic skills.

We are very proud and satisfied with the response obtained from the educational community of Colegio Alborán. Although, to tell the truth, we already knew about the values ​​and the good heart of our students, family members and staff at the Center, especially when there is such a just and noble cause behind it as that of our beloved former student Sarah Almagro Vallejo.

The collection from the sale of bracelets, together with that obtained with the Solidarity Art Market, hIt has risen to the important figure of €2795.

In addition to the fundraising success, the important thing about these experiences is really to verify that good people are there when they are needed. This allows us to go on vacation with a smile on our faces and with the feeling of a job well done, especially by our students.

At Colegio Alborán we are thrilled with the effort and enthusiasm that our entire educational community has expended in the solidarity art market that will take place in the center next Thursday and Friday, December 20 and 21.

The donated works will be exposed to the public from 10:30 a.m. and the proceeds obtained from them will be used entirely to help our former student Sarah Almagro Vallejo.

We want to thank everyone for their solidity and invite them to visit us and collaborate in this very special event for us.

As every year, the students of 1st and 2nd of Bachelor of Art with the 2nd grade students Baccalaureate what are they Sound and Vision, have had an essential appointment with the museums y exhibitions from Malaga.
