The last term is approaching, and our 1st year Artistic Baccalaureate students, who represent the fifth class of Art, have carried out activities and projects with great enthusiasm, such as the UCMAS championship poster developed at school.

In addition, they have created the photocall to celebrate Grandparents Day, while creating advertising spots that stand out for their originality.

Likewise, the 2nd year of Baccalaureate students of this modality have made posters to decorate the classroom. Works that transmit positive values ​​and that give off a great artistic sensitivity. All of them are jobs that encourage teamwork, a fundamental pillar in our school. Read more

Don Rafael Robles Gutiérrez, Rafatal, Film director, television producer and scriptwriter, visited our school on Friday May 18 to offer the students of Artistic Baccalaureate and Image and Sound a Conference entitled "Audiovisual Communication. The art of telling stories.”

During said conference on the Seventh Art, he aroused great interest in the attending students and encouraged young people to be critical citizens and "to draw their own conclusions, always questioning reality to arrive at the truth."

He reviewed the elements of the communication paradigm and described the ways of articulating and building stories, whether fictional or not, emphasizing the fascinating power of the word and the communicative act, something that involved the students.

Likewise, he devoted a section to explaining and answering questions about employment options in the audiovisual field, while highlighting the importance of teamwork today.

Rafatal, who is also a columnist for the written press and an audiovisual teacher, shared his cinematographic and radio experiences with all the attendees in a very interesting meeting that combined creation, distribution channels, piracy, advertising, promotion, communication strategies... On the occasion of Open Doors Day we inaugurated an exhibition with part of the works and photographs carried out in Artistic Drawing, Design and Audiovisual Culture. This exhibition may be visited until the end of the course. Read more

Today Tuesday, and within the activities of our Cultural Week, we have celebrated Art Day. As every year, the Art Department together with the Artistic Baccalaureate students have developed a project with the second and third cycle of Primary Education.

On this occasion, we have traveled to Japan, thanks to our Koinobori workshop or the creation of multi-colored koi fish. This oriental tradition is repeated every May 5 to celebrate the day of the boy and girl in the Japanese country. During it, the little ones hang hundreds of colored tents as kites that symbolize happiness, strength, tenacity and perseverance that will help them achieve their dreams. Read more

Yesterday the FIRST PRIZE award ceremony of the II Edition of the 'Mi Quijote – Siglo XXI' contest of the Editorial Vicens Vives, in commemoration of the IV Cervantino Centenary. An award promoted by said publisher with the intention of promoting the reading of Don Quixote de la Mancha among young people. For this, we have had the presence of several representatives of the Delegation of Vicens Vives in Andalusia, such as Ms. Isabel (Delegate of VicensYou live for Malaga) and D. Salvador (Director of the Eastern Andalusia office).

Educational centers from Spain, Colombia and Mexico participated in the call. Among them, our 2nd year of Art Baccalaureate students from the last class of 2016/2017, who presented a creative and original video that competed with more than 1500 proposals internationally. The winners, in addition to being recognized for such an important achievement, have obtained a check valued at €1000 and an iPad Air.

With this original video, the students of the 2nd year of the Arts Baccalaureate last year 2016/2017, and through the subject of Audiovisual Culture, have been awarded the FIRST PRIZE in the second edition of the Mi Quijote - XXI Century contest of the Editorial Vicens Vives​ where educational centers from Spain, Colombia and Mexico participated on the occasion of the IV Cervantine Centenary.
