Crepe contest. 2016-17

Like Spain, France is full of traditional and culinary curiosities. In the month of February we celebrate “LA CHANDELEUR” or “CANDELARIA” at the Alborán School. Its origin is religious, it commemorates the presentation of the Child Jesus in the temple. That day it is a tradition to eat crêpes as a family and distribute them among friends, family and classmates, with whom they share their joy.
The Department of Français has held its first crêpe contest at our school.
The 4th ESO students have celebrated this day by delighting the teachers as a jury, with their delicious and original crêpes. They have shown great interest in cooking them, taking pains to explain the recipe and preparation in French and showing their great imagination preparing and decorating these masterpieces.
Thank you to all our students for having shown so much interest in learning other traditions.

Enjoy your food!
