Day without uniform in favor of the Gode Mission. 2018-19.

Today we have carried out at the Alborán School one of the actions that are included in our Solidarity Project: the Day without Uniform. During this day, students who wish can go to school without said uniform in exchange for making a small donation for a good cause. Also 2nd year of Baccalaureate has decided to participate, but in his case, wearing it.
On this occasion, €710,00 has been collected, which will be delivered to the Gode Mission, in Ethiopia.

The Somali Region of Ethiopia, and specifically the target area of ​​the Gode project, is one of the parts of the country with the highest rates of malnutrition and mortality among children under 5 years of age.
The objective of this Mission is the reduction of poverty in that region, Ethiopian Somali Regioni, through the improvement of access and quality of vocational training and nutritional services, as an instrument to break the cycle of poverty. That is why they have already managed to build a professional training center and a nutritional center, on which approximately 300 boys and girls depend.
