Antonio Gómez Yebra literary meeting. 2022-23

The Department of Letters of the Alborán College, in coordination with the Anaya publishing house, has developed an enriching literary meeting held on February 14 with Antonio Gómez Yebra, a prolific author of Children's and Youth Literature who has won many prizes and awards.
Our 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students have really enjoyed this activity to encourage reading, which is part of our Reading Project.
The prestigious writer has shared literary experiences from his books "Gloria Fuertes para todos" and "The best animal riddles", works read by our assistant students.
In two very enriching sessions that have served to foster a taste for reading and the enjoyment of poetry, the UMA Professor has also spent time reciting poetry and posing riddles.
Likewise, during his visit he highlighted many aspects of Gloria Fuertes, whom Antonio Gómez Yebra met, including Versos con faldas, a poetic group made up of women, including the "poet for children".
In a relaxed and receptive atmosphere, the writer, novelist and poet, who has published more than two hundred books, almost one hundred of them aimed at minors and young people, has kindly answered all the questions and doubts raised and has signed copies of his books.
Finally, he has given some of his poems to the students who have guessed their riddles correctly and to our center with his work "Verso a verso", the latest book of poetry that he has so kindly dedicated to the teachers and students of some schools, among them, Alboran.
It is always an honor for us to receive Antonio Gómez Yebra, in meetings that encourage creativity so much.
