Virtual literary meeting with Pablo Álvarez Serrano. Course 2020-21.

The Department of Language and Literature of our center is committed to promoting reading, so every year it coordinates various activities that try to promote interest in books. One of them is to organize literary meetings with writers. During this course and due to the pandemic, the visits are being, for the moment, virtual.

Thus, the four Secondary courses have been able to enjoy the virtual visit of Pablo Álvarez Serrano in February, who, in a close and trusting environment, was able to attract the attention of all those attending.

It has been an honor for the Alborán school to receive this former student, who studied Bachelor of Arts and who is currently studying the 3rd year of Communication Sciences at the University.

Pablo has addressed the students who were his classmates just three years ago, to talk about his book “El cuento de Reeh”, his first work, written when he was 17 years old. With his peculiar sense of humor, he has clarified all the doubts and answered all the questions that had been previously asked. He has also offered literary tricks and commented on books and movies that inspire him, as well as "characters that contain a little bit of himself."

Pablo has also managed to create a relaxed atmosphere through audiovisual language to encourage the literary curiosity of our students. For all this, it was a very stimulating activity, which we have all valued.
