"Hablar Curso Rimado", poetic recital dedicated to Rubén Darío. 2017-18
Colegio Alborán, through the Department of Language and Literature, has participated today, March 20, in an enriching session of the Cycle "Hablar Curso Rimado", which has taken place at the Teatro Ciudad de Marbella.
In this way, we begin to celebrate World Poetry Day that takes place a day later.
Coordinated by the UMA Professor Mr. Antonio Gómez Yebra and launched by the Municipal Delegation of Culture and Education of the Marbella City Council, it is an excellent tool to bring #poetry closer to young people.
The cycle started with an exhibition and presentation of the life and work of Rubén Darío, by Antonio Gómez Yebra.
This prolific writer of Children's and Youth Literature offered us the most relevant information, as well as the most original and unknown anecdotes of Rubén Darío, who together with Salvador Rueda, is considered the Father of Modernism.
Antonio Gómez Yebra made all attendees evoke the musical rhythm and the dazzling verses of this great lexicon innovator.
Next, Yohana Anaya Ruiz, guest poet, recited a beautiful poem dedicated to the great representative of the Spanish and universal language in poetry.
Later, the students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th ESO of the Alborán School and other schools participated actively, reciting fragments of their most representative works in public with the main objective of promoting a taste for poetic texts.
