II Mathematical Scaperoom. 3rd of ESO. 2017-18

We have finished one of the largest math blocks in 3rd ESO with another Mathematical ScapeRoom. This type of activity is a very current concept in education and is based on the development of mental abilities to solve enigmas, so that the participants put their creativity and critical thinking into play. The activity consists of creating an escape room in which a group of people must remain for a certain time until they solve a problem using a set of clues. In this way, a series of cognitive mechanisms are activated that enhance the abilities of the players. In order to leave the kindergarten, the students had to use all their intellectual, creative and deductive reasoning capacities. It has been a great success, almost the entire class met the challenge!
