Trip to Cazorla. 2nd of ESO. 2023-24

Once again, the 2nd year ESO students immersed themselves in the Leisure-Sports and Cultural Activities program organized by the DAC. This time, they were part of the educational activities program “Education and culture outside the classroom.” They enjoyed a getaway full of multi-adventure activities, environmental education and moments of fun surrounded by nature, in the province of Jaén, specifically in the surroundings of the Sierra de Cazorla Segura y la Villas Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve. Beyond training, this experience aimed to promote social interaction in an incomparable natural setting.
During these days immersed in living nature, students lived new educational experiences in relation to the natural and wild environment. They carried out activities such as canyoning in the “Cerrada del Utrero” on the Guadalquivir River, as well as an exciting zip line, rappelling and climbing program in the area of ​​Arroyo Frío. They also ventured on hiking trails and explored restricted and protected areas such as the Cerrada de Elías, the Arroyo de los Urbíos and the Borosa River route. In addition, they enjoyed recreational activities on the Guadalquivir River and visited places of cultural interest such as the Park Museums and the Interpretation Center in Torre Vinagre, the Fish Farm, the Interpretation Centers of water and the Borosa River, the Castillo de la Yedra, the Basilica of Santa María la Mayor and the old town of Cazorla, among others.
