Day without uniform for Ukraine. 2021-22

The dramatic situation that Europe is experiencing at the moment forces us to reflect deeply on the contrasts that we find between the misfortune that is befalling the victims of this war and the luck that all of us who live in this part of the world and in this moment in history.
Looking away is not an option. This situation requires bringing to light our most supportive side, which coincides with one of the values ​​that we treat with the most emphasis in our educational model. Millions of victims, direct and displaced, who today are suffering the effects of the bombs, hunger and cold need us.
That is why the Colegio Alborán has organized today the "Day without uniform". During this solidarity day, students can attend without said uniform in exchange for a financial contribution. The collection has amounted to €5.385, which will be given in full to Father Oleg, parish priest of the Ukrainian community in the Parish of the Divina Pastora in Marbella to urgently help the victims of the conflict, which, unfortunately, are increasing every day.
We want to take advantage of these lines to thank our students and all the staff at the center who have dedicated themselves to this important cause of solidarity.
