LIVE LITERATURE

The most relevant literary characters of Universal Literature transcend this day of the classroom and permeate our live Literature school. The 3rd ESO students, organized by the Department of Letters, fully immerse us in the magic of books.
We have had a very varied and wide gallery of characters and authors: Quixote and Sancho, Cervantes, Romeo and Juliet, Gandalf, Puss in Boots, Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, among others, have visited the classes of their classmates. Primary and Secondary, explaining who the characters or authors they represent are.

VIRTUAL LITERARY MEETING WITH MÍRIAM TERUEL

To commemorate Book Day, we have also organized a literary meeting for Secondary and Baccalaureate students.
The writer who has accompanied us virtually has been Míriam Teruel Benítez, who shared with the students experiences about her first published book "Los sueños de Yumma", a work read by our students and, at the same time, presented her second work, which soon to be published: “The heart of Najma”.
Likewise, in a very interesting video, he clarified all the doubts that arose with his work and answered the questions that our students had previously asked him.
An activity of great pedagogical value that has served to promote a positive attitude towards books and encourage reading.

VIDEO 4º ESO CURIOSITIES OF THE RAE

The 4th ESO students have made an original video with curiosities from the RAE. In a humorous way, our students inform us of the members that make up the Royal Spanish Academy, as well as the criteria for the admission of words.

PODCASTS

Another of the activities carried out has been recording podcasts. The Baccalaureate students have made use of their voice to record a Podcast with the best-known universal lyric poems of all times.

THEATRICAL REPRESENTATION OF A MYTH

2nd ESO students have studied the narrative subgenres, showing great interest especially in classical myths.
For this reason, he has been encouraged to represent to his classmates in Primary and Secondary what is perhaps the best known: The story of the Trojan horse, a story that contains Homer's Iliad and that is also present in Virgil's Aeneid.
Through this myth they have transmitted didactic and moral values, in this case that cunning is more powerful than brute force and that appearances should not be trusted.
Our young performers, coordinated by the Department of Language and Latin, have prepared the scenery and decoration, while they have made an effort to give the best of themselves.
Bravo!

LITERARY GYNKANA 1 OF THAT

ESO 1 students have prepared a series of activities in groups that they show to their classmates from different Primary and Secondary courses. Each stall deals with a literary genre or subgenre (fables, myths, science fiction...) so that visitors can learn key concepts and important books of universal literature through gymkhanas, balloons, dart games and other activities. A playful way to learn outdoors.
