Primera semana de trabajo «on line». 2019-20
Estimadas familias.
Desde el Colegio Alborán queremos transmitirles nuestro más sincero agradecimiento por su colaboración a la hora de poner en funcionamiento nuestro formato on line de educación a distancia. Si bien es cierto que llevábamos un tiempo preparándonos para este escenario, la puesta en marcha siempre alberga incógnitas. Bien, pues todas han quedado despejadas, y esto ha sido gracias a un equipo formado por padres, madres, alumnado, personal técnico, secretaría y profesorado, todos a una, la verdadera esencia de la educación.
La respuesta de sus hijos ha sido excelente, y por ello queremos felicitarles también. Si bien los inicios han resultado todo un éxito, qué duda cabe que entre todos lo iremos perfeccionando y haciéndolo cada vez más operativo. Seguro que en casa también lo perciben como un reto muy estimulante.
Si es un hecho que la educación es cosa de todos, en ocasiones tan excepcionales como esta lo es más aún. Es por ello que tenemos una ocasión magnífica para trabajar desde casa la actividad física, la lectura, el bilingüismo, el tiempo y el uso responsable de los dispositivos, los valores y esos aspectos disciplinarios que desde la distancia el profesorado poco puede hacer, como la puntualidad, la constancia, el respeto a los turnos, etc.
Aprovechamos para comunicarles que la 2ª evaluación se pospone hasta que la coyuntura lo permita, pues consideramos que son muchos los aspectos a tener en consideración, mucho más que una simple media aritmética que podamos compartir telemáticamente.
Y nos despedimos de momento trasladándoles un mensaje de optimismo, e invitándoles a disfrutar del lado positivo de esta situación, especialmente el tiempo en familia, ese que tantas veces echamos de menos por causas del día a día.

We would like to transmit to you our most sincere gratitude for your collaboration in making a success the online Educational System established for these difficult times. It is a fact that we had been working and preparing for a while for this possible eventuality, but it is always a challenge putting it into practice. We are proud to say that it has been a success due to the combined hard work of the great team formed by parents, students, technical team, secretaria, and teachers, which together are the essence of Education.
Your sons and daughter’s response have been excellent, and, for that reason, we would like to congratulate you too. Although it has been a successful effort from the beginning, there is always room for improvement, and we keep working on that. We are sure that you, from home, find it challenging and stimulating.
We all know that Education is a joint effort but, at this time, it is even more. We have now the opportunity to work from home physical activity, reading, bilingualism, responsible use and time spent on digital devices, and those aspects (like punctuality, perseverance, and respect for turns) that are difficult to manage for teacher from a distance.
We would like to take this opportunity to inform that the second evaluation has been postponed until further notice, when the situation allows it to happen, as there are too many aspects to take into consideration.
We say goodbye for now with a message of optimism: to enjoy the positive part of this experience and the family time that we have now and that, so many times before, we yearned.
