XXXII Semana Cultural. Día de los Idiomas. 2022-23

We had a blast celebrating the Language Day of our XXXII Cultural Week today! Our secondary English and French teachers, along with 1st ESO students, organized a Pop-Up Cafe where they showcased their talents in a live Karaoke session while sampling food from different parts of the world.

Primary also had a lot of fun with activities such as coloring UK flags, face painting with the British and French flags, participating in a Karaoke session by British/American singers, and buying international food in the Cafe organized by the Secondary English and French department.

In addition, the first-cycle primary school classes participated in an activity organized by the French Department, which, with the collaboration of some 4th ESO students, proposed different dynamic French vocabulary games with D’Artagnan and the three musketeers and their motto «un pour tous et tous pour an!”

In the afternoon, we had our annual ‘Spelling Bee Competition’ for the primary classes. Eighteen pupils from 1st to 6th primary battled it out on stage to become the Spelling Bee Champions for their group. It was a highly anticipated event, and everyone involved did an excellent job.

The winners of the Spelling Bee Competition were:
1st EPO: Elena Jin
2nd EPO: Miranda Torres Ferreira
3rd EPO: Noomi Hänninen
4th EPO: Alessandro Ruysseveldt
5th EPO: Milana Sánchez
6th EPO: Dominic Colavincenzo

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this day a huge success! 👏👏👏👏
